2. A multi-sensory exhibit.

The Van Gogh Alive exhibit travels the world as a multi-sensory experience full of lights and sound. Although it has been in the US in the past, there are not currently any dates planned. Consequently, if you have a trip to Europe planned you should check out the dates currently listed.

“…a powerful, vibrant fusion of art and technology compels you to leave the world behind and immerse yourself in Van Gogh’s paintings – an experience that is simultaneously enchanting, entertaining and educational. Van Gogh Alive – The Experience will stretch the definition of the word ‘exhibition’ as it stimulates the senses and opens the mind.”

3. An interactive exhibit.

The Meet Vincent Van Gogh experience is a world traveling exhibition currently in China (negotiations in the works for the US) and is being hailed as a 3D Van Gogh Universe. Also noteworthy – his very own grand nephew worked with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam to create this interactive exhibit. Because you get up close & personal with the brushstrokes and walk through paintings you really get to feel Van Gogh.

“Visitors can literally smell straw in The Harvest and sit on van Gogh’s bed in The Bedroom, touch the brushstrokes on his art, and try their hand at drawing with his tools.”
